LAHORE- The body of Priyantha Kumara, a Sri Lankan national who was brutally murdered by a mob in Sialkot on Friday, has flown back to his homeland.
The deceased was transported to the airport in an ambulance, according to reports. Higher-ranking Punjab government officials were also present at the airport.
On the other hand, 13 key suspects in the assassination of Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara in Sialkot on charges of blasphemy were brought before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) today (Monday).
On the plea of police officials, the court ordered a 15-day physical detention of the suspects during the proceedings.
Security forces have conducted a series of raids, arresting 131 people so far, including 26 major suspects.
