KARACHI – The people of the port city may now look forward to the full commercial operation of the Green Line bus service, which will begin tomorrow, according to the Sindh Infrastructure Company (Monday).

According to the details, 80 buses will traverse a 21-kilometer route between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. In addition, 22 bus stops have been completed.

The citizens breathed a sigh of relief because they had been waiting for so long.

It should also be highlighted that while claims of project completion are being made, many locations, like Golimar and UP More, the stations still lack escalators, and many other areas remain unfinished. The locals have urged that the fare be reduced in light of this.

According to official sources, the escalator application has been delayed owing to delays in import services, and the job will be completed as soon as the machinery arrives.

It’s worth noting that from December 25th to January 2nd, 20 buses were put through their paces for four hours each day.
