On Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan paid a visit to Bahawalpur and introduced the Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card Program.
According to sources, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar was in attendance, along with other provincial and federal ministers.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Qaumi Sehat Cards have already been given in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, several Punjab districts, Islamabad, Tharparkar, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
With the addition of more than 10.5 million people from the districts of Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar, the number of eligible households and individuals benefiting from the Qaumi Sehat Card project in Punjab will increase by 63 percent.
