Pakistan has documented 47 deaths caused by a novel coronavirus in the preceding 24 hours, raising the overall number of positive cases to 1,474,075. The overall number of fatalities in Pakistan had increased to 29,648 as of Thursday.

In the last 24 hours, 3,914 people tested positive for COVID-19, according to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data.

Punjab is the province with the highest number of fatalities, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As a result of the outbreak, 13,298 individuals have perished in Punjab, 7,954 in Sindh, 6,082 in KP, 990 in Islamabad, 765 in Azad Kashmir, 370 in Balochistan, and 189 in Gilgit Baltistan.
