Ukraine is facing artillery fire and land invasion from Russia along its northern and southern borders, according to the border guard agency, which added that Ukrainian soldiers are retaliating.
Russian soldiers were reinforced by Belarus, according to the border guards, and an offensive was started from Crimea, the Russian-occupied peninsula territory on Ukraine’s southern flank.
“Artillery, heavy equipment, and small weapons are used in attacks against border units, border detachments, and checkpoints,” the border guards stated in a statement.
“Enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups’ activities is also documented.”
