ISLAMABAD: Australia’s cricket team arrived in Pakistan on Sunday morning on a special jet for the first time in 24 years.

A chartered jet brought a 35-member Kangaroos squad to Islamabad airport. Director of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zakir Khan greeted the visitors. The crew was transported from the airport to their hotel under strict security.

The Kangaroos will be ready to practise on Monday after spending a day in isolation.

The Australian tour’s media managers have already arrived in Rawalpindi.
