MOSCOW: According to Russian news outlets, Moscow has declared a humanitarian truce in Ukraine for Wednesday morning to allow for the evacuation of civilians.

“The Russian Federation declares a’regime of quiet’ beginning at 10:00 MSK (0700 GMT) on March 9, 2022, and is ready to offer humanitarian corridors,” a cell of the Russian defence ministry responsible with humanitarian operations in Ukraine announced Tuesday.

Russia further asks that Ukraine and Russia agree on the routes and start times of the humanitarian corridors “before 03:00 MSK on March 9.”
