ISLAMABAD: In his State of the Nation Address on Sunday, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the dissolution of the National Assembly.
The prime minister announced the dissolution of the legislature in an address to the nation shortly after Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri decided to reject the opposition parties’ no-trust case against Prime Minister Imran Khan for allegedly being involved in a foreign conspiracy.
The prime minister referred to the no-trust resolution against him as a “foreign agenda” in his speech and congratulated the people on the motion’s rejection in the National Assembly.
