ISLAMABAD: Pakistan condemned Israeli forces’ attack on Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday, which injured over 150 people and detained hundreds.
“This extremely condemnable assault on worshipers, especially during Ramadan, is an abhorrent breach of all humanitarian values and human rights legislation,” a Foreign Office spokesman said.
In recent weeks, Israeli troops have killed dozens of Palestinians and injured countless more in occupied East Jerusalem and other areas, he said, adding that the increase in violence by Israeli forces in the Palestinian territories is awful.
