The US and its partners will meet once a month to review Ukraine’s defence needs in the face of invading Russian soldiers, according to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Tuesday.
“Today’s meeting will turn into a monthly Contact Group on Ukraine’s self-defense,” Austin stated after the inaugural session of a weapons conference.
“The Contact Group will be a mechanism for goodwill nations to accelerate our efforts, coordinate our aid, and focus on winning today’s fight and future challenges,” he continued.
