In a conference of allies on Monday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that around 20 countries provided fresh security assistance packages for Ukraine to combat invading Russian forces.
Nearly four dozen countries and organisations that make up the Ukraine Defense Contact Group convened online for their second meeting to discuss how to help Ukraine, and 20 states promised weaponry, ammunition, and other supplies to Kyiv.
Ukraine Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov informed the group on the present state of the three-month-old war, in which the two sides are battling along a lengthy front line over land gained by Russia in Ukraine’s east and south.
