A Thursday explosion in Milan’s downtown resulted in a number of automobiles catching fire, according to Italian media.

Four persons were hurt while attempting to escape burning automobiles, according to the firemen.

A vehicle carrying oxygen cylinders exploded, causing the boom that was captured on camera by witnesses at the scene.

The reports state that the blast, which occurred in the Porta Romana neighbourhood of the northern city, caused burns to the driver’s hands.

Following the Milan explosion, the neighbourhood was evacuated along with the adjoining kindergarten.
