The purpose of celebrating International Mother’s Day, which is also marked in Pakistan, is to honour mothers by remembering their importance, highlighting their worth, and nurturing feelings of love and respect for them.
Most countries throughout the world celebrate International Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May, although several others celebrate it in January, March, October, or November.
Additionally, Google’s doodle has been recognising mothers everywhere.
