Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former US President Donald Trump addressed Ukraine and “the vital importance of Ukrainian victory” on Thursday, according to Johnson’s office.

Since being deposed as Britain’s prime minister last year, Johnson has sought to establish himself as one of Ukraine’s most passionate supporters in the country’s struggle against Russia’s full-fledged invasion, and he is in the US this week to meet with legislators about preserving support for Kyiv.

A representative for Johnson, called “Britain Trump” by the former president, said the two met on Thursday “to discuss the situation in Ukraine and the critical importance of Ukrainian victory.” There were no other information.
