Amir Dar, the brother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar, made the decision to leave the troubled party and give up politics on Thursday.
Speaking at a news conference, Mr. Dar decried the events of May 9 and announced his decision to leave politics owing to work obligations.
“I experienced commercial losses as a result of politics. I don’t have any issues with any institutions, he continued.”
Mr. Dar remarked of his brothers’ political destiny, “It is up to Usman Dar and Asad Dar to stay or leave the party.”
