An anti-corruption court on Wednesday delayed the hearing on the bail pleas of former chief ministers Parvez Elahi and Rai Mumtaz Hussain till 2pm.
Senior Special Judge Ali Raza of the Anti-Corruption Court ordered the case to be postponed after the prosecution said that it was disputing the decision to place Elahi on judicial custody.
When the judge asked Elahi’s lawyer, Rana Intezar, to contest the prosecution’s plea, Intezar claimed that he had not received any information about it. The court reissued a summons to the parties at 2:00 pm.
