The Supreme Court delayed till June 13 the hearing on the Election Commission’s (ECP) review petition against the Supreme Court (Review of Judgement and Orders) Act and its decision to hold elections in Punjab.
A three-judge panel headed over by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Ijazul Ahsan, and Justice Muneeb Akhtar evaluated the review petition brought by the ECP, the federal and provincial governments, and the Supreme Court orders act.
