Earthquake vibrations were observed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat district and nearby areas on Friday.

According to the Seismological Centre, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.4 on the Richter scale, the depth was 124 km underground, and the epicentre was in the border region of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.

According to the district authority, no one was killed or wounded as a result of the earthquake. However, all relevant institutions had been contacted.

Citizens who felt the earthquake’s shocks left their houses and gathered to open areas, shouting Kalima Tayyaba. They were afraid, though, because of the aftershocks.
