ISLAMABAD: The federal government has allotted Rs18.4 trillion for defence spending in the fiscal year 2023-24, a Rs218 billion increase over the previous fiscal year.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar Thursday released the federal budget for 2023-24, totaling Rs14,460 billion.
In fiscal year 2023-24, the government budgeted Rs824.65 billion to the Pakistan Army, more than Rs368.56 billion to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), and Rs188.24 billion to the Pakistan Navy.
