General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), spoke with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday.
According to sources, the meeting at Prime Minister House focused on a discussion of the law and order situation in the nation, and the COAS informed PM Shehbaz on army professional concerns.
The group also discussed how to carry out the decisions made at the National Security meeting and discussed intelligence-based counterterrorism activities.
The country will not forget or forgive anyone guilty for the events of May 9, according to COAS Munir’s earlier statement.
