The newly created Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) was sent a legal notice by Istehkam-e-Pakistan Tehreek (IPT) on Wednesday for improperly utilising the party’s name.
IPT leader Ahmad Kaleem sent notice that stealing the name was a clear violation of the Election Act 2017 to IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Tareen and president Aleem Khan. “IPT is not just a party, but an ideology that is an emblem of stable Pakistan,” it continued.
It said that the IPT was registered on May 17, 2022.
