— (Reuters) Apple said it is increasing its support for groups who are still underrepresented in the technology industry by contributing an additional $25 million to three organisations that work with minority-owned firms.

The money would increase the internet giant’s venture capital funding for a variety of enterprises to $50 million and would go to Collab Capital, Harlem Capital, and VamosVentures.

The announcement follows the Cupertino, California-based company’s venture into venture capital investment to support entrepreneurs of colour more than two years ago.
