According to reports, the guy suspected of stabbing two adults, four toddlers, and four other children at a playground in a French town last week has been admitted to a mental institution.
Following the June 8 stabbing rampage at a park in the Alpine town of Annecy, a typically picturesque lakeside location popular with visitors, the suspect, identified as Abdalmasih H, was charged with attempted murder.
He was a Syrian refugee in his early 30s who had spent the previous ten years living in Europe. He had undergone two mental examinations while being held by the police.
