Croatia advanced to the Nations League final with a 4-2 victory against the Netherlands on Wednesday thanks to goals from Bruno Petkovic and Luka Modric in extra time.
The team of Zlatko Dalic, who advanced to the World Cup semi-finals last year, made progress towards winning their first-ever title and once more proved they are experts in extra time.
After Donyell Malen gave the Dutch the lead in the second half, Andrej Kramaric and Mario Pasalic scored, but Noa Lang grabbed an equaliser in the 96th minute to force an extra 30 minutes of play.
