Asad Umar, a prominent party leader, criticised the PTI’s policies, said that the party had little political knowledge, and acknowledged that the people were represented by alternative parties like those in the PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement). The PTI is undoubtedly in trouble as a result.

According to Umar, the people decide a leader’s fate, but that does not imply a criminal should be pardoned. He needs to be disciplined.

He stated that refusing to deal with the PDM was a grave error and that the vast majority of PTI legislators in both the National Assembly and the provincial legislatures opposed resignations.
